The Eagle Award: Why We Never Really Do This Alone

When I was told I had received the Eagle Award—a recognition given by peers to those who exemplify leadership, selflessness, and commitment to the Keller Williams culture—I felt a wave of disbelief. It’s one thing to be recognized for production numbers, but it’s something else entirely to be honored for how you show up in the world.
Because the truth is, while real estate might look like an individual achievement from the outside, it’s never really a solo act.
More Than Metrics

Yes, 2024 brought personal milestones: I ranked #1 for individual sales, #2 for sales and leases combined, and #3 for both volume and GCI. On paper, it looks like a banner year. But the numbers don’t capture the grit it took to get there—or the people who lifted me along the way.
What those numbers do reflect is the power of consistency, the impact of meaningful relationships, and the strength of a well-rooted community. They’re not just indicators of effort; they’re symbols of trust, of collaboration, and of showing up day in and day out, even when it’s hard.
The Culture That Changes Everything
At Keller Williams, we talk a lot about culture. But what continues to amaze me is that it’s not just talk. It’s action. It’s accountability. It’s people choosing, every day, to be in service to one another. And that’s what makes recognition like this so powerful—it’s not about what I did, it’s about how others felt I showed up for them.
Being part of a team where success is measured by both achievement and contribution is what keeps me inspired. It’s not just about growing my business; it’s about helping others grow theirs. That’s where the real joy lives.

Why I’m Sharing This
I don’t share moments like this to celebrate myself. I share them to honor the journey—and all the people, experiences, and lessons that shaped it. Because if there’s one thing this year reminded me of, it’s that no one does this alone.
We all need someone in our corner. Someone to challenge us. Support us. See the best in us when we’re struggling to see it in ourselves.
When One of Us Wins, We All Win
This award is a reflection of something bigger than one person’s hustle. It’s about the power of community. The ripple effect of showing up with intention. The belief that rising tides lift all boats.
So as I settle into my role as Assistant Team Leader for 2025, my focus is simple: help others win. Help them dream bigger, move faster, and feel more supported. Because at the end of the day, success is so much sweeter when it’s shared.
Here’s to What Comes Next
If you’re reading this and building something of your own—keep going. Stay surrounded by people who challenge and champion you. Choose growth even when it’s uncomfortable. And always remember: the most meaningful recognition comes not from results, but from the lives you impact along the way.
